My Birthday Thoughts

Today I am officially 26 years old. I can't believe how quickly time flies. Over the last couple years I have been so blessed to gain new family members, new friends, new colleagues, and new mentors. I have traveled to Cupertino, Los Angeles, Chicago, Pennyslvania, Miami, Palm Coast, Orlando, North Carolina, New York City, and more. I ran a marathon (more like jogged....slowly), bought a motorcycle (not so happy mom), sold the motorcycle (happy mom), tried surfing for the first time (#epicfail), attended almost every concert I could think of, and helped create a short film that provided a red carpet invitation to England. In my music life I joined The Victory Project, released my first single, played my favorite festival in Soulfest, led a worship night on the Plymouth waterfront, played more guitar in one year than I played in 5 years before that, released my first big cover in "Can't Stop The Feeling" and so much more to list. I found a new church family that brought great friendships and helped me realize my desire to pursue music like never before. Lastly for this recap I gained a new sister and 2 incredible nieces that make me smile more than anything in the world. All in all I realize so much more how time moves so quickly and you never know when your time on this earth will run out. I don't know about you but I want to give this life all that I have, and that's why I'm not going to let fear of the unknown stop me. 26 is going to be the best year yet. So to start it all off, I'm first gonna spend time with my favorite people in the world, my family. I can't imagine a better way to spend my birthday.
